West Lane Carpark is an off-street parking facility in Darwin CBD, suited to drivers looking for a central place to leave their vehicle while visiting the city. It forms part of Darwin’s network of eleven off-street car parks, which together provide more than 2,000 spaces.
Parking arrangements differ from some other open-air city car parks. Overnight fees apply at West Lane from Monday to Thursday between 5.00pm and 8.00am, and the car park is locked at night. Vehicles cannot be accessed until it reopens the following day, so drivers should check the signs at the entrance before leaving their car. Paid parking is generally required in the CBD from 8.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays, with PayStay listed as a payment option while meters are temporarily unavailable during the transition.
The car park is most useful for visitors who need off-street parking in central Darwin, including people spending time in the CBD for work, errands or city activities. Motorcycle parking is free when using a designated motorcycle bay. Drivers should also note that an off-street ticket or PayStay session applies only to the car park or zone where it was purchased, and cannot be used for on-street parking.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.2 from 13 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
