Palmerston Bakery is a family-owned wholesale bakery based in Palmerston, Darwin, producing bread and rolls for customers ranging from small orders to large-volume supply. Its plant bakery is set up to handle both individual packets of rolls and orders of up to 1,000 loaves, with baking and delivery carried out six days a week. The business also works with customers operating across multiple sites to develop customised products, with minimum orders applying.

The bakery brings together two approaches. Its Edgars Artisan range is made using traditional fermentation, without preservatives or bread improvers, while the Palmerston Bakery range uses a modern rapid-dough process. Bread across the range is made with high-fibre, iron-enriched flour, and the Palmerston Bakery range contains 25 per cent less salt than standard bread. Ingredients are sourced from Australian growers and manufacturers where possible. Baking since 1995, Palmerston Bakery suits cafés, businesses and other organisations looking for a locally produced bread supply, rather than customers seeking a conventional dine-in bakery experience.
