Set at 45 Stokes Hill Wharf on Stokes Hill Road, Crustaceans on the Wharf is a seafood-focused restaurant in Darwin’s waterfront precinct. Its menu ranges from oysters, scallops, prawns, calamari and lobster to local wild-caught barramundi, Moreton Bay bugs and seasonal Northern Territory mud crab. The Australian Char-Grilled Local Prawn Platter features local NT prawns when available, served with garlic butter, a Thai-style spicy dipping sauce and salad. For a broader tasting, the seafood platters combine selections such as Australian king prawns, South Australian oysters, Moreton Bay bug, barramundi and calamari. There are also plenty of alternatives for guests who do not want a seafood-centred meal. Char-grilled steaks are served with a choice of chips and salad or baked potato and vegetables, with chicken schnitzel, chicken parmigiana, lasagne, pasta, curry and pork ribs also on the menu. Vegetarian options are available, including vegetarian fettuccine, and the dessert list includes cakes with ice-cream, sundaes, sorbet and affogato.
